Acadian Museum
An interesting and varied collection of artifacts reflects the Acadian culture from 1604 to the present. Included
is a book written by Samuel de Champlain, a huge painting of the Acadian deportation, the original Acadian Flag (1884), old Acadian
newspapers, textiles and more. Admission $3. Open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; weekends: 12:30 p.m 4:30p.m. Open holidays. Season
runs from mid May to mid October. |

CFB Gagetown Military Museum
Canadian Forces Base Gagetown is the largest military training base in the British Commonwealth. Its Military
Museum displays weapons, uniforms, equipment and memorabilia from the 1800's, the South African War, First and Second World Wars, the
Korean Conflict and United Nations Missions. It also features military vehicles on display outdoors. |

Changing of the Guard
With a flash of scarlet and a skirl of pipes, history comes to life! Tuesday through Saturday during the months of
July & August, a re-enactment of the Changing-of-the-Guard ceremony takes place in Officers' Square and at City Hall. The Guard dates
back to 1793 when Governor Carleton formed the first New Brunswick Regiment, soon after renamed the Royal New Brunswick Regiment. |

Christ Church Cathedral
This is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in North America. The cornerstone for Christ Church
Cathedral was laid in 1845, and construction was completed in 1853. Tours are available, and the Cathedral is also the stage for musical
performances on Fridays at 12:15 during the summer months. |

Ecological Park of the Acadian Peninsula
Located in northeastern New Brunswick, the Lamèque Eco-Parc offers numerous flora and fauna features
representative of the Acadian Peninsula. The Eco-Parc is set up for utmost discovery of these resources within their natural environment.
In addition to the attractions, the Eco-Parc complex offers a computerized nature interpretation centre and a gift shop. |
